With the wedding they had planned to have in Ireland in 2020 put on hold due to COVID-19, Ruth and Xavier decided to elope and get married at the registry in the CBD of Sydney.

They had their first look at the steps of the Sydney Opera House, which was completely bare, making for breathtaking (and very rare) images.

The ceremony followed, where they exchanged vows in front of only 4 friends, and then it was straight to find a Guinness at a pub to commemorate the occasion.

We then headed to Paddington, where we used the gorgeous back streets to our full advantage and then moved inside to Buon Ricordo for a lunch in their gorgeous wine cellar.

The day reflected them as a couple through and through and it was an absolute pleasure to capture such an incredible occasion.
